Maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) kills one baby every fifteen minutes. That’s 160 babies a day. Newborns face excruciating pain, convulsions, and extreme sensitivity to light and the touch of their own mother -- unable to ever live and experience a mother-child bond. Join UNICEF and Kiwanis International in the global effort to combat MNT, and help protect mothers and babies in underserved areas of the world: The Eliminate Project.

All they can remember before they die is the painful experience caused by MNT. Childbirth is already tough for mothers, but they are forced to watch their baby suffer in their last moments of life -- even dying from MNT as well. You can be the Hero they need.
